Most 100m Races Under 10 Seconds

I’ve decided against doing a Rio Gymnastics summary. Instead, I wanted to have a look at the stats of the sprinters who dipped below the 10 seconds barrier for the 100 meters dash and to see who did it the most times. Continue reading

Track & Field World Records Ranking – Men

Well, after ranking the women’s WR’s it’s only logical we do the same for the men’s WR’s. The ranking is done the same way, from the record most susceptible to being broken to the most resilient record, the unlikeliest to be broken. Continue reading

Track & Field World Records Ranking – Women

Ok, this is something I wanted to do for a long time – to rank all the world records in track & field according to their breakability, from the record most susceptible to breaking, which would be ranked lowest, to the most durable record, the most unlikely to be broken, which would be ranked, er… first? Nick Symmonds – Beer Mile

This is actually something from 2012, but I just came across this and it was too cool to not write about it in the blog. So here we go.

As an avid reader since a very young age, I always thought that the books are ALWAYS better than their cinematic adaptations, even if the cinematic adaptations are really awesome, be it “Game Of Thrones”, “Harry Potter” or “Lord Of The Rings”. I always treat the movies\series as visual aids to the books, or some sort of appendices. I don’t see how someone who didn’t read the original material and is relying only on the movies\series can truly grasp and appreciate the intricacies of the work. You just can’t film EVERYTHING and some stuff will inevitably be left out. Continue reading

Renaud Lavillenie – The Fucking BOSS

After some thinking and deliberation I’ve decided that I will not induct active athletes into the Blog’s Hall Of Fame. The dilemma arose because of the upcoimg induction I was about to make, which was of my all-time favorite female swimmer. But as you can tell – she is still sexually active, and because the Hall Of Fame posts serve as a career summary of sorts, things may still change in the near future and I’ve decided eventually against doing it. Continue reading
