Statistical Achievements That Went (Largely) Unnoticed In The 2015/16 NBA Season

The end of a yet another NBA season means a couple of things – the major statistical summaries are getting published in every possible sports-website, while some other statistical achievements are getting forgotten and wait to be mentioned in places such as this blog. This is the 4th year in a row in which I give a loud shout-out to those forgotten achievements, the shy ones, the ones who for days make plans to talk to this girl at this party and then end up sitting across from her throughout the whole evening and not mustering enough courage to actually come and talk to her, even though she’s sitting there all alone by herself and probably could use somebody to talk to. NBA All-Star 2016 – Part I

Another All-Star weekend behind us. It was a mix of good and bad, but not necessarily the good and the bad I was expecting. It was also Kobe‘s last All-Star weekend, which was kinda sad, but not as sad as Michael‘s last All-Star in 2003. At least this is how I felt. BTW, do you remember that back then in 2003 Kobe was the one who denied us the ultimate Hollywood ending to the game, with Michael’s game-winner-which-turned-out-to-be-not-a-game-winner because Kobe sank those free throws that forced a second overtime? My Take on the 2015 All-Star Starters and Kobe’s Injury

Well, I have to concede that I didn’t get ALL of my picks right… In fact, I picked right only 1/5 of the Eastern conference starters (LeBron), and 3/5 of the Western conference starters (Kobe, Unibrow, Steph).
